A Change of Pace

A Change of Pace
A number of readers have asked me why I have I recently begun to post photos of works of art and spiritual quotes on my Facebook page.
I have replied that I have begun this because I am tired.
Sick and tired.
Weary of all of the negativity on social media.
People lie, cheat, steal, harm, and kill reputations with a click of a few keys.
In many ways, social media brings out the worst in us.
Fake leaders, fake news, and fake stories fill social media and leave us all the more fatigued at the end of the day.
Many people are leaving Facebook for the sake of their sanity. They cannot take all of the negativity online. Many lose themselves in the mire and let themselves become depressed with the state of the world.
Despite my weariness, however, I do not plan to leave Facebook. As reported above, I am now posting works of art on this medium as well as my comments on current affairs and my articles.
I am also posting a lot of spiritual messages aimed at releasing us from low frequency negativity and raising our consciousness to a higher level.
Why am I doing this?
Because for the past nine years Facebook has given me a voice in cyberspace. My articles are read and shared, and this permits my modest voice to reach out to many readers.
It’s not too much, but many voices together, reaching many readers, is a start in the right direction, especially when they share facts and shed light on the truth about significant issues that affect us all.
We are living in dangerous times, times when many leaders would like to shut us up or create a sense of fear based on what we read and see online, which can contribute to their hold over society.
Abandoning Facebook is abandoning a vital medium for challenging the powers that be and sharing truths others may try to stifle.
But Facebook is so much more.
It allows us to share the artistic and spiritual creativity of many who would otherwise be shut out from what can be civilized discourse.
It offers moments to nourish our souls and spark our own creativity.
It allows us to reach out with positive messages that can transform depressive energy into a positive feeling with which to meet the challenges we all face in this uncertain world.
So, I invite all readers to join me in this change of pace and share art, poetry, literature, music, and spiritual messages to raise the level of dialogue this medium slowly can encourage and to raise our personal and collective consciousness.
Hence, my change of pace is an invitation and a challenge to readers to create a more positive platform through action rather than passive resignation to a presumed reality that can be defeated —one that raises us from frustration to an appreciation for all that can be beautiful.
How do you feel about this?

Fully supportive of you on this issue,Eduardo.
Grateful to read this. Shine the light and help us raise our vibration!!!
