The absence of an exit plan is a concern. Hopefully the many operatives of the CIA and Mossad who are on the ground in Iran will prove their worth by identifying rocket launch sites and guiding would-be replacements for governing.

I most certainly hope so. And that Trump chooses wisely!

Bibi is a rational actor while Donald is not.

Neither. I am just not blinded by antisemitism as you are!

Agradezco la claridad con que se expone los motivos que generan el estado de conflicto.

Mi mayor preocupación es las vivencias del pueblo Irani

For a take on military strategy I recommend Andrew Fox (on substack). I am not suggesting that he always has answers, but he does have a very lucid and reasoned take on this (as well as Ukraine and Gaza). As to oft repeated suggestions that Trump is after Iranian oil - I wonder... US is a major producer (in fact, the largest in the world, if you believe the internet) and exporter, so I wonder what he wants with it. US investment in the sector - sure. But I think the the government that would be needed to allow significant investment by the US companies in Iran would need to be very different that what it is today. How that would work out for the ordinary people of Iran who are celebrating the *potential* demise of the Islamic regime is another story.
