Estoy en eso querido primo. No pienso retirarme por completo, pero escribir menos enfocado en cosas pertinentes y no solo repetir lo que dicen gente como Trump y reaccionar a lo negativo. A ver como me va! Un gran abrazo!
The media bears a major responsibility for the negativity we experience trying to manage life in the current world. Attempting to live in a mass media void is a very difficult option for the average thinking individual. There appears to be no middle way. I have tried and failed to shut out the media. I will still keep trying. I will never abandon hope. I make small decremental steps. However, I am increasingly of the view that only a total blackout of media participation will ease the anxiety.
I live in a democracy which requires the participation of everyone to function. And, as a participant, I require a constant feed of information on which to base my opinions and input. Therein lies the conundrum. If I shut myself out from the world at large I have abandoned my responsibility as a citizen, and deserve whatever fate metes out. But , if I continue to acquire knowledge of the dynamics in the world around me, I can contribute to supporting the values I hold and fight against those who wish to destroy my way of life.
Eduardo has made a great effort in calling out those who would seek to attack humanity through promoting division and hate and violent ways. One cannot fight this beast in a contextual void. I am only one man, but a man who needs to know what is happening in order to wage a fight. If I throw in the towel I betray myself and am a lesser man for it. To take a positive stance requires me to confront the negativity. It is a Hobson's choice.
I wish you all success in that. I feel that I'm in much need pod the same surrounded by negative content. Question is how to balance it with our increasingly negative world.
