Isn’t it extraordinary how often life-threatening chaos becomes our alarm clock? The world, as it is now, seems full of such alarms. Everywhere, something is calling: Wake up. It is not too late.

But what is it in us that needs the alarm to become so loud? Why can we not awaken before life begins to shake us?

Have we fallen into such a deep sleep because we have gradually turned life into a vehicle for our own convenience—something to manage, control and consume—rather than a living mystery to which we belong?

And perhaps the most urgent question is this: must catastrophe always be our awakening—or should we simply learn to wake through love, attention and reverence?????

Glad you mentioned it. For me, the answer is "raise the vibration"...find ways to love, whether it be a tree, a flower, an animal, a human...as an appreciation of the beauty of creation, for a brief second or a meditative minute or more. Someday soon, AI will prove it works. For now, all we have is https://www.positive.news/lifestyle/spirit/could-the-military-use-meditation-to-create-peace/
