Well it hasn’t so far and Alberta doesn’t want to put energy on the table. Neither does Quebec sonit seems unlikely at this stage.

Thanks for your writing Eduardo. Existential threats can lead to evolutionary adaptations. Something is stirring in Canada's national soul over the last few days. Maybe it's time to finally expand our markets. Meanwhile before the community of nations can progress to a functional "internationalism", there still remains a fair bit of house-cleaning at the nationalist stage of development (hence wars in the Middle East & Ukraine). In future will we look back at Trump's threats as a tempest in a teapot or the handwriting on the wall?

It all depends on how we react today. Fear is our friend -- it motivates us to act in ways that address challenges. If we rise to the occasion, we can win. Let's use fear to motivate all to act with strength and reason.
