While God unites, religion divides.... Clear! What is there not to understand?????? Me first, we are the chosen ones... we are right, you are wrong.... death to the unbelievers.... The list goes on.

Hopefully the next Pope continues thishumble and powerful path of Love and Inclusion. Thank you for this article, Eduardo.

I pray that you are right. The process of change begun by Pope Francis must continue if the Church is to remain relevant. Big hug!

I pray and hope that the next Pope will follow into Pope Francis's steps. I also wish that the 'elected' pope will come from an area similar as that of Pope Francis, who has seen and understood what being poor, hungry, sick, ostracized, beaten, abandoned, etc means, and also understood and accepted that the world is changing in many ways and that the Church must adapt. Francis did as best he could. This is the type of man we need to lead the Church. Otherwise, more people will leave the Church.

His positions were certainly closer to those of Jesus. Whether he managed to convince the zealots in the Church remains to be seen. I pray he did because we need them to wake up. As difficult as it may sometimes be to love one another, the Church must indeed set the example by preaching love for all God's creatures and condemning abuse.
