Absolutely terrifying! As you correctly say it is a huge mistake by the democrats not to have made a Democratic election of its candidate to the presiden y after Biden quit!
Thank you for your article, Eduardo! I have to reread it again trying to find meaning in this situation. You are very eloquent and you come to the point. For now, I make peace in coming to one conclusion: if he would have lost, he would have made our lives very difficult for at least a year. Confusing as it is: We have come to a point where humanity MUST seriously get out of our comfort zone and fight for sense and sensibility.
Just a suggestion. You might gain more credibility if you toned down your strident anti Trump rhetoric. He was previously President in 2016 and improved the U.S. economy and reduced taxes and regulations. Wages and employment improved. On the current Trump victory, a comparison with the 2020 election and Biden`s then surfeit of 20 million votes over Trump`s 75 million raises questions.
Where did the 20 million votes come from? Notwithstanding, I enjoy your articles and level of detail.
As a Bernie Sanders admirer, I feel it shocking how the DMC has treated him and would appreciate your thoughts on this.
The Democrats have too big a tent to manage, and the differences between the left and the center appear to be too far apart to he reconciled, especially when the votes are at the center. Perhaps ot is time for the two party system to evolve into a multiparty one so that voters have a clear choice. That works in Canada and other countries
Many thanks for your thoughtful comment. I believe Trump is a dusaster as a human being and as a leader and express this in my articles. I would do the same for any other public figure who represents the worst of humanity. But I take your criticism under advisement and will follow your advice! Allbthe best!
Thank you Eddy. Eloquent as always … a sad day for the world though. One could say that “Americans get what they voted for…” but the rest of the world has to live with it too.
Indeed, If the democrats want to win future elections, they would be wise to focus on trying to understand where they went wrong instead of lamenting how voters could be so stupid.

Indeed. Now we must live with the consequences!
