I think if the Liberal Party wins the election with a majority, we will see a substantial impact in the handling of the ridiculous onslaught by Trump & in improving the major priorities for the betterment of Canada & her citizens!

I have faith in Mark Carney. I am delighted that Freeland is part of the Cabinet, and her role as Minister of Transport and Internal Trade attests to the importance of these two issues in moving forward with resetting Canada's economy.

I think your points are well taken. The only one I take exception to is the one about "priorities". In this complex world, priorities are a moving target, and I think it's best to accept that everything is "important" and that does not mean nothing is important. Housing, food insufficiency, education, environment, defence, immigration, interest rates, foreign aid, health care, and all the others I'm forgetting to mention.

I simply cannot imagine that little terrier Poilievre being able to understand, let alone foster, any of those important issues. Carney, on the other hand, has been working on them for years, building the relationships that will help them fit together to build a strong Canada.

Our priority today is to survive as a country. Everything else is secondary in my view. That must be the main focus of our political leaders. That’s why I agree with Carney’s focus and priorities. Abrazos!

Yes, we have to survive, yet, in order to do so, we must build a new sustainable model that taps all of our resources. And that surely requires providing for all of those things so everyone assumes their responsibility for building it.

Indeed. But priorities must be struck, and focusing on too many dilutes the effort. I agree with Carney's focus on three goals for the short term to shore up Canada's independence and address successfully the threat from the south.

This is no more the wishful thinking of a liberal..it certainly is not reality..

Liberals …with Trudope at the helm, have nearly destroyed Canada and do not merit another chance at governance..nor will they be permitted to so by Canadians themselves…and by Trump et al..

Yes.. permitted is the correct word… there is no way with the overt encroachment of China posing such a serious national security threat ….that Canada will be permitted another Soros backed globalist government …Without a doubt…Canada will be brought to heel .. even if by the manipulation of their economy..globalism/NWO shall not exist on the US northern front for if it does it will be suicide for America…

Thanks to Truedope the liberal brand has been sullied beyond repair.. and thankfully conservatism will replace the madness that is liberalism..

What Trumpuan dream?

That they ditch globalism,?

That they ditch the NWO?

That they ditch Soros’ directives..?

This is not a wish…

Nor is it optional…

This is must happen…stay tuned.. The people have awakened…Canada will not get the free pass it has gotten in the past to maintain its comfortable financial standing thanks to US facilitations and protections ..

it will have to stand or fall on its own merit ..

Good luck with that!
